OT: El Dorado West diner in Tarrytown has closed

One of my club members passed along the news that the El Dorado West Diner in Tarrytown has closed. It was directly across the street from the Double Tree Hotel home of several Dark Shadows festivals .I ate there more times than I can count both from the fests and years earlier at the Collins Assn gatherings. I' m glad that we all got to have one more year there at last year's fest. Turns out it didn't close from lack of business but because the nearby Honda dealer REALLY wanted the land for a new building and was willing to pay nearly double in monthly rent. Should there be future fests in Tarrytown, it just won't feel the same.
