Revisiting yet another still:

...

And a candid of Thayer David in nearly full (he's missing the gloves and hat) Strack regalia that -

(Click here for a 678X700 version)

- may have been taken on the day Strack's trampling was shot or Angelique's hanging. I'm not sure which, so I held off sharing it until now. As far as I know, it's never been officially published anywhere...

And finally, at least for this go around, another still directly related to Scene 146 - one that I've never shared before -

(Click here for a 867X576 version)

- and one that so far as I'm aware has never been officially published anywhere.

And a bit of trivia: eagle-eyed fans will notice the name Amos Ross on the tombstone, a tombstone that was apparently recycled from the daytime series. Does anyone besides me remember how it was used and in which storyline?

If you don't want to know the circumstances surrounding today's entry in this slideshow, then don't read any further...

[spoiler]Today's quote:
Ep #652_653 (1968) - Liz - 'They MUST have someone to take care of them immediately.'

From  "Robservations 9/18/02 - #651-652/3 - Liz & Death; Joe vs. Werewolf"
Liz's fear of premature burial persists as she talks to Barnabas. He tells her it's in her mind, which only supports her argument that there's something wrong with her. Suddenly her thoughts turn to David and Amy.
She insists that they'll need a governess to replace Vicki immediately, in fact, tonight. She suggests that Maggie would be a good choice. (a waitress as a teacher? Only on the Collinwood universe!) Barnabas agrees to call her.

The Robservations paraphrases but gets the point across well, though without using "must"...

And even more stills worth revisiting:

And even though these have nothing to do with the cemetery set and were taken outside Lyndhurst, I've often wonder if these three stills were taken on the same day as the Lobby Card:

(Click here for a 800X1053 version)

(Click here for a 800X1235 version)

(Click here for a 800X1189 version)

A somewhat longer version of the top still was shared on page 190 of the Return To Collinwood book. I'm pretty sure I've never seen the other two officially published anywhere...

Elisabeth:  I don’t think that’s actually what “Business Casual” means, but I’ll allow it.

I don't know, Bob.  I'm thinking that Collinsport's most sophisticated shopping center, would've been SS Kresge's.  It would be where everyone did their shopping, from back-to-school apparel to Christmas gifts, and everything in-between.  And, to compete with the Collinsport Inn coffee shop, there might even be a lunch counter.  If the denizens, including the Collins family, wanted something more cosmopolitan, they would take the drive to Bangor to shop at Woolworth's.

Calendar Events / Announcements '24 I / Re: The 56 Best Horror Books of All Time

I might've mentioned it here before, but the most horrific novel I've ever read is Off Season by Jack Ketchum.  I literally couldn't sleep after I finished it.  It's not for the faint of heart in the least little bit.  And the version I read was edited by the publisher, removing scenes that were more horrifying than what was in the initial printing.  An "author's cut" with the restored scenes came out in 1999, but I didn't get a chance to read it.

And yet two more stills to revisit:

When it comes to the stills I sort of associated with Scene 146 because they were taken in and around the cemetery set, after I came across the stills posted to AOL back in the '90s, I discovered a much better version of the one of Grayson Hall. Today I updated that post with the better version:

...

For a change it's not Nancy Barrett posing around a set/location that Claire didn't appear in, it's Grayson Hall posing at the cemetery set, where Carlotta never appeared, -

- and wearing one of two dresses she appears in stills wearing but she never wore as Carlotta in the film (but more on that at a later time). A somewhat cropped version of this still appears on page 172 of DS Memories.

...

And I also came across this one -

- which I'm sharing for the first time. And when it comes to it, I'm not aware of it having been officially published anywhere...
