Title: iPad Question

Here's where I always come when I need info on all things computers.
I'm *thinking* about getting my daughter an iPad...

First, approximately how much are they?

Are there currently any 'issues' (such as with iPhone 4, the antenna issue)?

Next, any warnings I should know about?

In addition to the actual price, will there be 'ups and extras' or 'hidden costs'? (Such as any 'cards' she would need to effectively use the iPad.)

We have an HP printer...how would she use it with iPad?

Big question....does anyone here (I'm thinking first Midnite & her son then MB) have and use an iPad?

I would appreciate your input....

hmm...

Okay...most of the rooms in this house are set up for DSL.

Will there be a problem me using PC w/windows & simultaneously my daughter using Apple?

Unfortunately, Patti, I don't use any of Apple's products, so I know absolutely nothing about the IPad except what I've read here and there. However, that being said, there shouldn't be any problems accessing the Internet where both PCs and Apple computers are in use because accessing the Internet is independent of brands.
